yeah this is pretty weird. the original track was probably my least favorite on the album anyway though. avey's voice sounds really good though. the vocal effect he has goin for the main part is really nice

2 of my fav artists. love when they remix each other's songs. I like this, it's odd but pretty good

I love love the vocal melody. I couldn't recognize that it was Avey at first though. Didn't really care for the remix though

this is very special; closer than it could be to being a surprise single release and also having that single be mind bending, abstract, and very generous to the mind and heart in terms of having both deeply futuristic and bountifully ancient emotions evoked throughout!

this may happen again with their new music... even then i'm not sure it will be this freeform, but maybe!

if i would someday be talking to someone about different animal collective creations that i found wondrous, this will be included!

like Victor_Borge mentioned in the other thread, definite Music for Reliquary House vibes here. wish it were a little more organized but sonically this is awesome

Don't like it. The chorus' hook is pleasant enough but everything else sounds like a brainstorm.

I'll give it some time but man that sounded rushed.

The vocals are pretty bare on this. I like it. Hope this signals that there are going to be less effects on vox for the next album.

Yeah honestly I keep listening to this and like it less every time. Oh well. It's just way too unstructured for me

the crazy unstructuredness/formlessness of the song is the best part imo!

you should listen to shabazz. They are awesome. First album is like experimental rap, one of my fave albums ever. new one is even more abstract and sounds kinda like if anco did hip hop and synths
