I'm sure we've all done this before, and some might think it's blasphemous, but here is where to post any alternative tracklistings you might've dreamt up. reorder, add b-sides, subtract tracks you don't like, go crazy!

Here's my alt feels:

1. Did you see the words
2. Grass
3. The Purple Bottle
4. People
5. Banshee Beat
6. Loch Raven
7. Flesh Canoe
8. Turn into Something

Sorry bees lovers! not so sorry daffy duck lovers...

I think it's awesome that people do this, but I've never had an urge to. Maybe I should consider it...

I always wished Water Curses and especially safer were included on Strawberry Jam. I have this playlist on my iPod:

1. Peacebone
2. Water Curses
3. Unsolved Mysteries
4. Chores
5. For Reverend Green
6. Fireworks
7. #1
8. Winter Wonder Land
9. Cuckoo Cuckoo
10. Safer
11. Derek

Peacebone/Water curses would have a great 1-2 punch รก la "Did You See the Words/Grass" or "Leaf House/Who Could Win a Wabbit".

I've heard people saying that Safer's great but they can see why it wasn't on the album as it wouldn't fit anywhere. I think it would be perfect just after Cuckoo Cuckoo as the penultimate track.

Also, with these tracks, the running time is in the mid-50 mins; the same as most of their albums.... it's meant to be!

I do:

Strawberry Curses:
Water Curses
Peacebone
Unsolved Mysteries
Street Flash
Chores
For Reverend Green
Fireworks
#1
Winter Wonderland
Cobwebs
Seal Eyeing
Cuckoo Cuckoo
Safer
Derek
Overall, Strawberry Jam was SUPER well sequenced. I like how Chores blasts out of Street Flash, and I like how Street Flash's echoed synth comes out of the harpsichord-y sounds of Unsolved Mysteries. Cobwebs after Winter Wonderland is another good tone shift in my eyes. Then there is a little piano suite from Seal Eyeing -> Cuckoo -> Safer, and then it gets tropical.

I can see Water Curses and Peacebone being switched, but I love when one of the best songs/singles is the second song on any album (ever notice that trend?), and I like the way WC flows into Peacebone flows into Unsolved Mysteries more than PB -> WC -> UM.

MPP:
Brothersport
What Would I Want? Sky
Lion in a Coma
Bleed
Summertime Clothes
Guys Eyes
Taste
I Think I Can
In the Flowers
Also Frightened
Daily Routine
Bluish
Graze
My Girls
On a Highway
No More Runnin
MPP is really well sequenced and paced, too, but I remember them talking about their debate as to whether they should put Brother Sport first, so I built this playlist around that idea. It's essentially 4 suites of 4 songs each.

Centipede Hz:
Moonjock
Today's Supernatural
Rosie Oh
Crimson
Applesauce
Wide Eyed
Father Time
Gotham
New Town Burnout
Monkey Riches
Mercury Man
Honeycomb
Pulleys
Amanita

Person Pitch:
Comfy in Nautica
Boneless
Take Pills pt. 1
Song for Ariel
Take Pills pt. 2
Bros
What I Do
I'm Not
Good Girl
Laughed for a World Filled with Fantasy
Carrots (pts. 1 and 2)
Bonfire of the Vanities
Search for Delicious
Untitled (from that compilation thing)
Ponytail

Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper:
Sequential Circuits
Crosswords
Faces in the Crowd
Boys Latin
Mr Noah
Davy Jones' Locker
Come to Your Senses
Tropic of Cancer
Untying the Knot
Butcher Baker Candlestick Maker
Shadow of the Colossus
Lonely Wanderer
Principe Real
This Side of Paradise
Selfish Gene
Acid Wash
Cosplay

And for Down There, I stick the Alligatorland website music (it's about 1:12 long) before Laughing Hieroglyphic.

I had actually posted a Person Pitch tape on CA4 that had a slightly different track listing from what I just posted. It incorporated OG Surfer's Hymn too... does anyone still have a copy of that mixtape? It's all mixed together into either 1 or two tracks; I lost it when my hard drive crashed. If you do and could send it to me, that would be awesome. Artist label is probably "Socks" or panda bear, and the mixtape title is probably "Perfect Pitch" or "Person Pitch Plus."

I'd really love to have that back because I was super happy with how I transitioned Take Pills into Song for Ariel and incorporated Untitled in between Search for Delicious and Ponytail. Super sad I lost it.
