every time i try to access lyrical collective to get some older stuff i get hit with a "subscription expired" message - anyone know what's up?? i'd really hate to see this page disappear

I tried becoming a member of the wiki, and putting a comment down about how I couldn't get in. All there is to do now is wait and see :/

Wikispaces is a subscription service now. We are trying to rehost on here...it'll be a little while but it won't be gone forever.

I wish they would have given me a heads up it was happening this weekend! Wikispaces announced they were removing their free services a few months ago. The plan moving forward is to set up a self-hosted wiki on the CA domain. Most of the technical work is done in terms of getting the hosting sorted and the content (as of a month ago or so) is in place, but the formatting is a mess since wikispaces and mediawiki speak different languages. Wikispaces also indicated they would set up a redirect to the new site when it's resdy.

I can get the new site ready to launch this week, but I would really appreciate if a few people could PM me who are willing to help boring wiki grunt work in preparation. It would be great if you had wiki experience or woild be willing to learn.

The new wiki is going to be a lot easier to work with (ideally) and I think it's cool that the CA brand will be even stronger!

i am amazed at how many people are trying to sign up for the old page! hopefully they will get redirected to CALC when we're ready to launch later this week!

yeah, the incoming members are crazy. i didn't know the traffic was that high!

this happened at the worst time (right as I was recording a cover) but luckily the lyrics were on sonic booms photobucket.

okay i got sick of confused membership requests on the old lyricalcollective so i paid for a month's worth of hosting on wikispaces. deakin owes me five bucks

any reason i can't edit the wiki? i'm signed in. preakness lyrics are incorrect (both on the animal collective page and the panda bear page) and i wanna update 'em

yeah it's a dead man walking so i disabled editing on all the pages. keep an eye out for the new site coming soon and make your edits then!
