I know what you mean. I use an ihome while at work to listen to jams. Most of the people I work with are conservative old folks (I work at a gun factory) or they're just young rednecks. So of course I get a lot of people saying "What the hell are you listening to?", "Your music is so weird.", "What is that noise?". It makes me smile, because it really does make me think about what I do love so much about the AnCo boys. I mean the people I work with don't HATE them, but they would never try to listen to them. Even my friends won't give them a try and just "bare with me" when I play music around them. Honestly, my boyfriend is the only person I know that actually is a fan of AnCo and the like.

Yeah.
It kinda bums me out because I don't friends to talk about music (They all listen to like post-hardcore or pop-punk or the like). Sometimes I really just wanna get down and talk about the music I find or about Panda's new EP/LP. So coming on here is cool n all for that because there are some actual hardcore fans and that's exciting.

u need to get good at quickly dismissing the music you like to regular people because nobody is impressed or bothered or cares w/r/t what you're listening to. just get good at saying "yeah i listen to bad weird music" and moving on to something that can help you form meaningful connections with them like their hobbies, sports, tv, or other normal stuff. then come on here and talk about cool music

I know, but when people do listen to music (ac or not) it is the BEST when you talk with them for the first
