Mr Noah Ep vs Avey Tare's slasher flicks

What is your favorite AC related release of the year !?

It's a difficult choice for me caus Mr Noah have this "this is new feeling" so I must have been listening to the ep like 30 times, But It is a bit overwelming sometimes (the production)

And I have been listening Slasher lately and it is better than i remembered (once the hype exitement was gone)

I dunno if I can compare these two.

Faces in the Crowd and Mr. Noah are such solid tracks.
I was feeling A Sender today on a level I've never experienced a SF track before. So gooood.

ETSH. hands down. I mean the EP is amazing, but like.

I kinda went through an AC revival after slasher flicks and I loved ETSH so much that I went to my first music fest all by myself and met Dave there and it was magical. the album feels carefree and exciting and I can let go completely when I listen to it. something about it just resonates with me.

I'd have to pick Mr Noah, but I'm pretty psyched to listen to Slasher Flix all day tomorrow

i'm leaning toward slasher flix mainly cause it's way longer, more to chew... both really good

Can someone explain to me why you like Roses On The Window? For me, it kind of feels like it goes nowhere for 6 1/2 minutes. It seems kind of muddled in my opinion. Just wondering...

ETSH is so great. But I do agree that it isn't fair to compare the Mr. Noah EP to ETSH. I'm totally in love with the ep but only one of the songs is going to be on the LP. I have really high hopes for PBVSGR.

Favourite song on the album. It starts with a groovy bass and simple progression, then each part gets increasingly more intense until "BECAUSE I LIKE THE WAY"... which is the best part of the album and all the build up makes it a hundred times better.

Roses is a perfectly concentrated dose of why I love AC, it builds and alleviates tension with ease. To me the song builds up to the last "Be careful" part really beautifully and it feels very cathartic
