Alright, I think it's that time again.
We've had plenty of boots and I think we should do our Pre-release compilation album like we did for Tomboy.
Spoiler: show
If everyone thinks this is cool let me know. We have these songs to do.

Tropic of Cancer (VictorBorge)
Sequential Circuits (Frumpkin)
Ms. Pacman (moop)
Mr. Noah (Hellomark)
Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker
Garage (meysell)
Boys Latin (onebraineno )
Come To Your Senses (SamuelAaron)
Nadir (JohnsonNoise)
This Side of Paradise
Wazzupp
Faces in the Crowd (TubbyTurdner)
Jabbawaqy (Scooter) (gosly)
Cosplay (dyland)
Principe Real (nevermind)
Robert Frost!

someone please let me know if I missed anything. I cannot keep track of all these songs haha.

Just thought I'd do an update on what we have so far for simplicity's sake:

Tropic of Cancer

Nadir (2 covers)
https://soundcloud.com/lyiness/nadir-pb-cover
https://soundcloud.com/wrswrswrswrs/nad ... bear-cover

Sequential Circuits
https://soundcloud.com/tfias/sequential ... bear-cover

Robert Frost
https://soundcloud.com/hybrination/robe ... bear-cover

Boys Latin (a work in progress)
https://soundcloud.com/the-mechanical-m ... n-progress

Jabawaqy
https://soundcloud.com/stasz92/jabberwo ... bear-cover

Mr. Noah (someone posted an instrumental, which has since been removed, but there has been some work done on it)

Cosplay
https://soundcloud.com/jonathanwallmusic/cosplay

Popadam
https://soundcloud.com/collages/popadam

This leaves; Ms. Pacman, Butcher-Baker-Candlestick Maker, Garage, Come to Your Senses, This Side of Paradise, Faces in the Crowd, Principe Real and Mr. Noah left to go.
Note that some people have taken some of the above, but there is yet to be any work of theirs posted. Don't take this as a reason not to take any of those tracks though, as stated before:

no! trying to avoid songs that people probably won't end up doing is a good way for the project to end up unfinished

I'll try Nadir, but am very open to the idea of someone else trying it simultaneously.

Yeah, I mean if someone else wants to have a go of something someone else is doing too that's fine. The more the merrier I guess.

Just try to grab one that hasn't been chosen yet if you can.

I want to do This Side of Paradise but I don't want to do two covers alone. Does anyone want to work on This Side of Paradise with me? Or multiple people?

Also if anyone else wants to take a stab at Tropic of Cancer too, please feel free. There was already one really good cover of it posted in the PBvsGR thread...can't remember who recorded it. It was the one where the singing sounded a bit like Bradford Cox.

If all goes to plan I'll be doing the ATP version of jabbawaqy. I much prefer it to the newer boot version

Saw someone already got Nadir. I did a cover a while ago though and just thought I'd share. It s a dope song, since the ATP boots its been getting stuck in my head (I like the newer ending though.). [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/lyiness/nadir-pb-cover[/soundcloud]

Thanks. I don't really put the other stuff I make on the internet though, usually just give CDs to friends. Maybe one day

Alright I'm out. Jabawaqy is too hard. Can't figure out the chords or find any synth that matches it. All yours Gosly!

Posted it in the Tabs/Lyrics forum, but I'll throw it here as well! I think Jabawaqy is F#6, G#m7, Fm7b5

Going to give Principe Real a go, I realise it's taken but the more the merrier right? Maybe Robert Frost as well, since no one has taken it, but it seems pretty hard to do. :smugdog:

EDIT: Robert Frost seems a lot easier now that I've started to break it down, and no one else seems to be going for it, so I'll definitely be doing it.
