Hello out there!
I’m offering these two tracks as a benefit for the land and people of WNC. All of your contributions will go directly to Asheville Tool Library, who have been visiting different parts of WNC repairing necessary equipment for free. They have been a crucial resource for myself and many folks around the area. And to Downtown Marshall / Nano Hub. Marshall is a town that was just about destroyed by flood waters. Many good people have been working hard to clean and restore it.
I appreciate you all for whatever you contribute.

when I got the bandcamp email I was hoping for new tracks, but actually these alternate versions are great and really interesting counterparts to the studio stuff. the Little Fang demo almost has like Danse production? and the live version of When You Left Me from that tour is arguably better than the Eucalyptus version, nice to hear it properly mixed and mastered

always love hearing demos, and right after avey played WYLM in 2017 my wife and i drove back to our house and she had planned a surprise 30th birthday party for me and my sister and my best friends from college were there!! ♡

one of my favorite Avey tunes and getting a demo version brings me immense joy, it's perfect, i want more Slasher Flicks demos now... this is the best version ever

When You Left Me is also fantastic, love how the keys are sitting so high in the mix ... maybe i'm just really in the mood for AC music today, but does this not sound like the superior version of this song as well? this is hitting hard

This version of when you left me is truly superior. I loved the album version, but some of the production gives me a little whiplash. Hearing the song as a stripped down performance gives me more of a smooth emotional ride to follow. Also the keys are fucking sick.

Think I’ve heard this iteration of When You Left Me before but it still hit me in the chest, love it to pieces

My fav version of When You Left Me is still the Cows tour one with Deak and Jeremy Hyman but this is still a fantastic recording. Little Fang demo is fun, I want more Slasher Flix demos! More demos in general really.

I was wondering how Avey was doing since this storm - I'm sure probably in better circumstances than a lot of people in the area were, but having your home and community destroyed can't be easy for anyone.

just bought this one, hope avey is doing ok, can't imagine dealing with that much destruction, i'm in the UK where natural disasters are basically non existent and feeling very grateful for it.. I love hearing demo versions of these kind of tracks, what I wouldn't give for a similar demo for slow words, I think that is genuinely my favourite unreleased AC gem, with song for jerome as well
