Yes! I often wish he did more yelling/shouting stuff as a fundamental element of the songs. He improvises that stuff all the time but rarely makes it a part of a song's structure ya know

Everything on the Pitchfork Sung Tongs video. All the renditions of weird one-off samples that they perfectly recreate. It's very not them to do that but it's also flawless.
Tbh just generally love with it's Avey and Panda essentially just having a demented, rambling, non-sensical conversation.

Pretty much every Panda track from PW has this via hocketing. Understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. My favorite is when the songs have elements of the two switching between straight harmonizing and hocketing which I think Lying in the Grass showcases well. Feels like the two are racing and are neck and neck.
Also the intro to vertical with Avey modulated voice and Panda normal voice
Can’t forget Panda harmonizing w himself at the end of On Delay, which isn’t chaotic sounding but kind of a crazy idea
I think PW may have the most intricate vocal play of the albums. Probs why SB thought people would love it way more than they did.

Great example of Noah’s growly vocal thing he’s been doing on Edge Of The Edge:
i feel like the peak of That Voice Panda Sometimes Does Live is the "lift this weight/leave my light on" verse on Live at 9:30 NTB. love that it's on a Super Official live album too

Was that the thing from several years ago where people were saying he kept getting really mad on stage at something? He did it when I saw him live I think 2017 or 2018. Think maybe he swore but not into the mic. That was a pretty unnerving period. Wonder if his setup was difficult to work with then

Yea 07 is right, it happens during the end of the second verse of Daily Routine in the Satellite Ballroom show in Charlottesville, VA (timestamp 1:41, in case anyone wants to hear it) Awesome little moment.
