He’s got like 7-10 new songs and has said he plans on recording them this year

I hope. Obviously not in anco circles, but his songwriting/contributions to the band are so so amazing and underrated. I feel like he brings a certain type of writing that comes from a place of pain/suffering/sadness and seeks to redirect and create joy/meaning.
A lot of his 2010 stuff that didn’t get released on sleep cycle I was in love with for years. Island Chase is such a great song. “I MISS YOU MAN I HOPE THAT SHOWS”
And I love that he gets as emotional about certain songs like we as weirdo fans often do, like hearing him talk about tearing up in studio to banshee beat is one of my favorite ac anecdotes.
I know he’s stated recently that he’s been writing, lots of piano demos on ig and I think there’s some boots with unreleased material from the past 3-4 years

NYC Taper boots are standouts IMO. One with members of Prince Rama and one with Tim Dewitt of Gang Gang Dance. Actuallly not sure I've really heard any other boots

there's one more - [something] which he played at the Ottobar in 2018. there's no evidence that he played it again though so maybe he dropped that one

deakin mentioned recently that he might record pbh but also that full band PBH was not completely ruled out!
