Tickets here - $12

Less than 2 hours away from me but unfortunately can't make it. When Deakin did his first 2018 solo show, Avey Pear and I both got voice memo recordings. Looks like Pear hasn't been on here in a while but hopefully they or somebody else is able to go.

Doors 8:00 PM
Bella Hayes 9:00 PM
Deakin 9:30 PM
Bloodsnake2 10:00 PM
Cindy Lee 10:30 PM

Mentioned in the other thread but I'll definitely be going, looking forward to it!

Hey guys. I also have a ticket for this and I have a little recorder now that I’ll bring. The problem is I live almost 5 hours away. Hoping to make the show but the weather looks slightly sketchy for driving back so I’m not 100% sure yet. Maybe Evan or HelloMark can grab a phone recording or something just in case? Anyways I’m really excited for this. Cindy Lee is my second favorite artist next to AC so this is a match made in heaven for me.

The more I look at the weather the more I don’t think I can make the trip. Do you think you’d be able to record the set?

Yes if someone could get both deak and Cindy I’d be eternally grateful. Crushed I can’t make this but a 5 hour drive through an ice storm isn’t in the cards for me tonight sadly.

Got a recording. It was just him solo on piano so there wasn’t a lot of competing noise so we’ll see how it turned out. Beautiful set. Talked to him a few minutes as well. Hell of a nice guy

Gave it a little listen in the car. Couldn’t stay the whole time for Cindy Lee (babysitter on the clock). For a phone recording on a very old iPhone it seems very passable. Not 100% sure how to
Go about sharing it if anyone could advise or wants to see if they can clean it up and split it

Deakin setlist
Spoiler: show
just am
not sure if I recognize this one?
suspend the time
stride right
golden chords

Then he played one last song on guitar instead of piano, I know I've heard it before but couldn't place what it was. Something from an older solo boot I think. Really nice, intimate performance, his piano playing has gotten really great.

Extremely excited to hear this boot. So far anyway not a lot of footage on Instagram, but what little Deak has shared sounded sublime.

Oh shit, yeah I forgot about Harpy! Thanks!

Also I didn't get a recording of Cindy Lee's set but it was really amazing, if most of what she played was indeed new and unreleased stuff then I will be very eagerly awaiting the new album.

Sorry for the wait everybody. I ended up going with HelloMark's recording because it was a little louder. Thanks to him and Evan for recording this awesome set. The way Deakin talks about it at the beginning of the recording it sounds like this is a special one off set that may never be played again. Here's the link:

Hoping a mod can archive it here for us.

Avey Pear thank you soooo much for that, and thank you HelloMark for recording. What a set! Avey and Panda may be masters of their craft but god damn Deakin comes out with some absolute heart wrenchers. That run of the new song (which I adore already) through Golden Chords is just magnificent.

Big thanks to those who came together to document this. These sound amazing, I hope he goes in this direction for whatever his next record is. What is Suspend The Time from?

Here’s the recording for Suspend the Time. It’s a Geo/Deak track. Anyone know if he’s played that second song before? I don’t recognize it.

this is so sick! thank you so much everyone! only listened to the first two tracks so far

the banter at the beginning 'it's going to be rife with mistakes, and i'm gonna love it, and you're gonna love it' lol so good

i don't recognize the 2nd song at all, i bet it's either brand new, or maybe something from this 2018 set with some new music that i only listened to a couple of times:

Let me know if there’s an existing title for it! I don’t know all the material. I just picked the refrain

really really love that new tune. any chance you think it was written for AC as opposed to being a solo tune? probably very low odds of that. it's such a great song, immediately hit me in a way no other Deakin track aside from "Down Down Down" ever has.
