I was listening to the La Maroquinerie 2007 recording and noticed that there's this subtle beat in the middle of the transition between doggy and hey light that i havent noticed in any other recording. anyone know what im talking about? im guessing its normally there, but doused in effects, because this is a pretty naked version of the songs. weird.

another fun bit from a 2007 show: the Lyon recording of my girls (which is vastly superior to the album version btw) has a really interesting and beautiful chord at the last "for my giiiirls" before the last chorus, a chord that isnt there at all on the album. kind of dissonant, maybe was a mistake? sounds sick though

when they're playing turn into something in the Haverford 2005 show, something had to have broken right after deak's solo because you can hear avey scream "no, no, keep going, keep going!!" before they break into a drum and train whistle interlude and eventually picking the song back up.

also the group of friends yelling about cigarettes at the beginning of the boot before People starts up makes me smile every time. that whole boot has some lovely springtime evening energies

At the beginning of Modern Days E on my bootleg of Slasher Flicks at Ace of Cups in Columbus there is a guy who kinda shouts like homer "DOHH!" "ARGH" in between jeremy's initial drum beats and then some guy shouts "I Can't See!" Cracked me up so much when I was EQing and spliting the MP3s. It was also my first recorded show of something AC related.

I didn't catch it at the show but now I can't unhear it even on the studio, i want to grunt like homer simpson in between those beats.

I have a really shoddy phone recording of it I've never posted anywhere because I didn't realize it was clipping so hard until after the show. Not very listenable at points, but if you want it I can upload it. I think it got the banter during breaks decently enough.
