Animal Collective DJ set @ 1501 Folsom in SF

This was just announced on their facebook page, along with two other dates.
Looking into it, 1501 has nothing about it on their website.
Actually that night is booked with Washed Out and some other bands too.
Anyone have any info on this?

talked to Noah at the Fillmore last night, he said it would just be Geo, Avey, and Deak, then he added "those guys are better off without me" while chuckling. so cute when they're shy!
anyway, I'm really excited for this set.

I shall be wearing a Frank Zappa t-shirt tonight if anyone keeps an eye out. Gonna try and meet up with phantom and tdegenaro before.
Edit: so how about this, anyone who wants to grab a drink before, me and phantom are gonna meet in front of 1015 at 9 and find a spot ( or go inside maybe?) to get a drink, PM me with your number and I'll let you know where we are at so we can mob deep this muhrfukr.

That's not necessarily the case. Geo just said that they didn't conceive a version of that song that was satisfactory enough to be released. It's entirely possible that some incarnation of it has been recorded by the band.

lol that's be so insane if From a Beach got resurrected... that was favorite song 5 summers ago.. If they play it in a dj set, what does that even mean?
