That is very cool, the choir did a good job of recreating the song. Though i have to echo coollodges about the percussion.

I almost would have preferred just a straight a capella rendition. No beatboxing or anything cheesy like that - just the voices.

yeah i don't really know why they needed drums. maybe they didn't want to leave the drummer out.

in the song, the drums have a dub pulse, and this is a 4/4 traditional pulse with no upbeat at all.

^yeah that's what I'm saying. If they are trying to do the same thing as the recording they are way off, and if they are doing their own thing that's cool, but I wasn't feeling it.

Granted though its probably hard to try and play along to that weird choir rhythm and a conductor ya know?

well, the first kick hit comes in right on the "not", and does sets of 3 kick hits, rotating out. Anyways, that's not the point. It's awesome to hear this kind of group taken on a PB song.

i don't really get why a choir has a drummer at all. i can't see choirs and drums (rock/jazz kits or whatever at least) ever really going together, but i'm closed minded.
