THIS IS A MUST! I played their open mic last night. I've also been there to catch Devendra. The stage is TINY. The whole area is very small. Going to be very intimate. Avoid the El Rey at all costs if you can make the Pioneertown drive.

mmm you may have convinced me, la and pioneertown are pretty much exactly the same distance away from me, so i've been trying to decide between em

well, this ticket process is going to be a shit-show.

Methinks similar to Big Sur 09 tickets.

my first live pb experience was pretty damn good

visuals were fucked though, they had no color! he didn't even use the grim reaper stuff during scheherazade either… pretty much just black and white squiggles for the whole show. was a shame since people had been hyping those up so much on here

still, i had a great time. and whereas i was kinda iffy before, i'm now definitely convinced by the new principe real

NOT SURE IF NEW INFORMATION, BUT RAVE VERSION OF "THE PREAKNESS" WAS PLAYED. ONE OF THE HEAVIEST DANCE TRACKS THAT WAS PLAYED.

Wasn't it mentioned that Danny's shit got stolen by the TSA or something? I guess they had to improvise on the visuals

Well, it was just a sheet that was hung for the screen, and the wind was blowing it around.

I assumed he just ultra processed because of the shitty conditions.

Either way, solid show. Epic Techno dance party at the end

A bunch of Danny's gear got jacked while they finishing up the last leg of the early summer tour.

But weren't all visuals intact the very next night in LA?

TSA probably gave the equipment after realizing DP isn't a terrorist

You would think they knew what was what aye? Isn't the first time I've heard of TSA holding equipment or not letting certain things on to flights. Didn't mount kimbie have to leave a whole novation bass station in Atlanta?

I think it all had to do with the wind and the small sheet they had for a screen.

yeah ^

like I said previously. He didn't have a huge theatre screen to project on, or the darkness

This has better quality compared to my upload on YouTube. The stand out of the night is definitely Come To Your Senses. Enjoy.
