"Its always been in the spirit of Animal Collective to want to collaborate in many artistic ways with each other. Having been a fan of Noah’s music since we were teenagers, it’s sweet to finally be able to collaborate with him on something other than just making sounds and songs. I also am thankful to get my first shot at making something a little more long running in the visual/video world. This is one of my favorite songs on the record, hence my being involved with it. I’m grateful and excited to have worked on every moment of it and to have worked with all the sweet people who helped me put it together."

Noah's Soundcloud description wrote:
Swallow at the Hollow is a mix of things I made around the same time as all the Grim Reaper tracks. They kind of feel like scribbles or doodles and for some reason or another I couldn't find my way of singing with them. Some of them just stuck out like sore thumbs. I hope you enjoy them and wanted to say thanks very much for listening and thanks to those of you who came out to see the shows the past couple of years. Happy Halloween...

i hear influence from "replica" from oneohtrix point never in that pitch change at 5:19. i'm already digging the aesthetic of these new tracks more than the ones off of tomboy.
wasn't there talk on the old board of panda wanting to put these new songs out pretty quick this time around?

I'm torn between wanting him to get in the studio and just record and release this bitch super fast or wanting him to announce a bunch of US tour dates for this year.

He'd tour, it'd just be a matter of it happening before or after the album comes out

first this is so similar to tomboy
the triplet-ed synth textures and guitar lines
and the vocals are like beneficial but taken to some heavenly level

it totally has it's own identity though and sounds like a huge evolution,
i'm with this being his magnum opus thus far

sweet how the harmony progresses through the video, like the first song is so beautifully crafted between a simple 5-1 and then he starts playing with those minors in the harp song and that friendship bracelet-ey wholetone thing but minor

princepe real is so fully realized- heavy as shit on the groove like a deep club song
when the vocals came in... eahfeahehahaha

he seems to be so dedicated to the melody in all these songs

that last chord is chills

I don't want to go ahead and say this'll be his mainstream breakout, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if one of the songs became the next "My Girls"

it's like he's reached that potential with every song and blended it with his eclectic taste

anyone who likes to get down will dig principe real

and that first song could be totally feel good danceable
and even ravel would feel good cause the melody is so crafted

The second song has another nutcracker sample in it, more blatant than the Soft Serve Rip Curl one, and its from my favorite song from that ballet.

These songs sound pretty great. Another one of those times when its great to be an AC fan (all the time?)

I am so happy right now. Goosebumps and shit. That first song sounds like ecstasy. The god damn beats in the second half is just killer.

As much as i want to hear the eventual record right fucking now, i hope he doesnt release it bit by bit like he did with tomboy. I want some foreplay with all this shitty bootleg recording, fan made titles and all that, and blow my load when the album drops

Edit: cant stop listening to that first song! "Only you could fill those spaces"

This. If I could control one thing about the album, it will be having it not released bit by bit like Tomboy was. It just took away the whole 'album' feel for it, not that any of the songs were bad. But by the time the album dropped, there were only a few songs left that we hadn't heard.

He also did that with Person Pitch so i guess that's "his thing" now which is pretty annoying. One single before the album is all i want to hear.

regardless of quality, all of the songs in these videos sound really wonderful...the "90s hip-hop vibes" sound fits him like a glove it would seem...

Holy shit. Avey and Panda are really killing it with their new material. I think im more hyped for Panda's new shit though. That is some next level Person Pitch right there. That second half part is so sick! I love what he's doing with his voice on most of these tracks.

BTW dont you guys find it weird that pfork hasnt reported on these new Panda videos?
