That's a beautiful thing, Tic. Just recently saw Spirit at my local record store, nabbed that up quick. Now I'm only missing Hollindagin(out of the basic stuff.)

My rarest piece of AC paraphernalia is my autographed CHz test pressing. Only 5 of those floating around as far as I know.

Yeah, that's a pretty decent price. The cheapest copy of Purple Bottle on discogs is $25, but that doesn't include shipping. I'd snag it.

Bizarrely, I managed to get The Purple Bottle for like $10 on ebay, and this was during Merriweather-mania in 2009.

I got Purple Bottle for $20 with shipping a while back.
Likewise, I bought Wastered for $60 at a store in LA

Sure.

I wastered $40 for wastered and the day that mine came in the mail I found one for $24. Pretty much the exact same story for Purple bottle. I think I paid $25 for it, but then found another for $12 before mine even arrived in the mail. I bought Young Prayer, Hollindagain (Paw Tracks), and Carrots 12" from someone for $85 with combined shipping and then later found all three for under $20

Most of all, my story with trying to get a working feels is the most ridiculous. I paid close to $50 for it twice (both times ended up being totally or at least partially refunded because it skipped) and then another 4 or 5 purchases on ebay of it that all either ended up also skipping and getting refunded or never coming in the mail.

After having probably purchased 9 or 10 of them over the course of a year, I finally just kept one that skipped on Grass and Loch Raven and assumed that was going to be as good as it would get. low and behold, this may I get an email saying that my purchase from Insound had shipped. Thinking that I had not purchased anything from them in almost half a year, I was a little dismayed to see that I was being charged for something that I had backordered the previous November. I was initially pissed because you think that there would be a statute of limitations on how long a company can keep something on backorder and then come back and charge you for it, but the Feels copy they sent was actually perfect with no skips so I was happy.





Here's a repost of my collection. The OG HCTI with the poster is not in the pic but I think everything else I have is. Still don't have OG Hollindagain and CDs of Spirit, Danse, Obored, Coconuts, and PB (S/T).

The split is totally worth it. I think I actually like the Grubbs jams even more than the Avey ones

i got a used one that was perfect for USD $5 on discogs in march and a used dead drunk that was still in the original shrink wrap for $12 or $13

Yeah I was (seal) eyeing that ACB for a few weeks haha.
Good thing the split isn't expensive! I'm gonna get that soon (along with cone toaster)
