Email pawtracks/carpark and you'll probably hear from Todd, who is awesome. He will definitely help you out if Dave is cool with being contacted. AC used to have an email for general fan stuff that we used back in 2008 but I don't recall the address off the top of my head, nor do I know if it is still an active account.

it bugs me out when Americans say "write someone" instead of "write to someone"

might be a shortening of "write (someone) a letter"? i swear i've heard UKers say this too though...maybe i'm imagining

"i'll write"
writing becomes the action, implying writing a letter to someone
"i'll write you"

seems legit

"write someone a letter" makes sense to me because it's the same as "give someone a letter" which means the same as "give a letter to someone"

but if you take out the object you're giving it just sounds like you're saying you're writing someone like you'd write a letter, lol

THAT'S ALL SORRY FOR DERAILING

the plasticity and rapid evolution of language is very cool imo. writing 'a letter' probably comes from writing someone 'letters' (i.e. graphemes) so that's already a sort of interesting shorthand/transformation of language anyway.

but yea i'm sure if you wrote a truly earnest and thoughtful note and sent it to the respective facebook inbox it would make it through. i think geo might even personally take care of the ac facebook. he mentioned it briefly in an interview.

wat? I have never tried to contact the band. I sent my first EP to paw tracks in like 2009(I was young and reckless) but I didn't get a response.

I sent one to the animal at paw tracks dot com in 2009 and got a response quite literally a year later from Brian.

This is going to be confusing, but first you need to type in http, then :, then two /'s. Then google, then .com.

Next type in the following in parenthesis: "contact the animal collection band".

From here you will be prompted to enter your query for the band and you should receive a reply in 10-12 business days from the bands press release contact via e-mail/skype/twitter or myspace.
