i guess that order of the songs on the 1st page of my note bible is sorta correct
- but dont forget , that was just the transferring of the bones from noahs computer - thats the order we started uberizing and adding tho , give or take . but we worked on them all simultaneously .
except the first week we just did ctys & acid wash stuff .
all the sequences in that were done at New Atlantis .
have a great weekend petek

Hey Pete, any word on the original Faces in the Crowd?
I know Noah said "no promises" and there's also speculation of it having merged with Jabberwocky, but is there anything you'd be able to tell us on the matter?

agreed 100%, it's a song about marijuana that doesn't glorify it, or even really encourage others to use it, just a personal realization that marijuana use might have changed some people for the better instead of for the worse. can't wait for the full song

No please Panda don't play Bonnaroo! Nashville always gets cheated out of shows because of the radius clause. I want a intimate Nashville performance!

I'm telling all of my friends to go see Panda Bear's set at Coachella. There aren't any fans around here and I would want their minds to be blown by the album and those visuals!

Dang, this album collage for the website is just about as rewarding as hearing the album for the first time (prematurely I might add) being that it puts PBVSGR into such context. All of the sudden there's this world built from the elusive squirmy textures and they've done spawned of reality of their own. This collage makes me think of what the AC guys would have done back in the HTCI days if someone locked them in room of mirrors with PB's new album and a sampler as their only instrument, and. Said have fun.
So kúl, Noah and Pete!

What's the name of the song that was featured in the original album preview and it's just panda's voice doing that "AH--EE--OH" part???

not a bad song in this era

so fun. Best album rollout i've ever seen, not even close (maybe kanye's good friday thing would have topped it but I wasn't a kanye fan at the time). The entire EP just fucking jams and after listening to the boots of the unreleased tracks and the collage from pbvsgr I've decided this is the panda golden age. Every song has a great beat and melody and is either really fun or really emotional. Popadam will absolutely be my jam, cosplay (i think marijuana makes my day is a better title) and jabbawocky are bonkers too. then the album itself just kills too, but i've written enough about that lol.

Same question then to everyone. Does anyone know what song appears at the 1:30-2:00 mark of this loop? It isn't on the album...

What you're hearing in that loop is an
out-take of PB singing BUT WE DON'T on a singular, isolated track. It probably doesn't sound the same A: Because it's an out take, and B: Because it's isolated from the other vocal track that you're used to hearing it paired with...plus, it's got different FX and a different mix on it.

When I heard that snippet on the pbvsgr site tonight, it sounded like it was still the two tracks "But (but) we (we) don't (don't). I think you're right about the different FX and mix of course, but it was still two vocal tracks. Sorry to get so specific, just happened to notice it a bit ago.

You're absolutely right.
There is a section at first which is nothing except "BUT-WE-DON'T" and I guess that's what I was referring to, not the part that fades in where he's hitting the higher notes.

So far most of my bets have been wrong.
With that said, I'd like to bet all these snippets of Cosplay and Jabba that we're getting are also outtakes, differently mixed, and not even pieced together with anything associated with the actual track. Listen to the rest of those mixes, some of them are loops but a lot are pieces of tracks taped together with other parts from other songs.
