It's funny, it seems that a lot of good artist ( in music or cinema) droped out of college

Pitchfork's cover stories are always really amazing and insightful. That one was great. I really dig Sherburne's stuff

Is it silly of me to want Pitchfork to give this album a 10 and declare it aoty?

There is nothing more true or natural then wanting to win.....not that it's a competition, or anything ;)

pitchfork has been all over panda... giving him a ton of love with this rollout. Also a few of their writers have praised it on Twitter. one said it would have been the best album of 2014. I'm calling a 9.1 review from them. anyway i love all of these panda interviews, it adds so much to the experience of the album

great feature. i got excited when i saw that panda likes andy stott. 9.1 seems like a good prediction. i can see realistically any score in the 8.7-9.3 range. i'll predict an 8.9.

cover story automatically equals it's ok and over 9.0 score.

Yeah, I don't think anyone will be surprised when this album gets it's ok. That's pretty much a given for a PB solo release. I just want it to pull a Merriweather and become the zeitgest, probably due to a misguided desire to be able to claim that I listened to this album before it blew up :milhouse:

Cover story was great.

It's blatantly getting a 9.2.

Hopefully it's recorded and uploaded quickly because I'm traveling that whole day. Boiler Room is sometimes really slow putting up older broadcasts

YES :negative:

Interesting that the press release specifically states that he'll be performing some material from PP and Tomboy. I wonder if that's true or just something they put in every concert announcement

I always first download Tropic of Cancer to check if this version of the freebird has that glitch. So far it's still there.

Can someone tell me what this means?

"The lyrics to “Mr Noah” are quintessentially Panda Bear—cryptic, densely imagistic, ambiguously druggy, simultaneously self-deprecatory and ecstatic. But the most interesting thing about the song’s presentation, at least on a lyric sheet, might be the words “wolf,” “bear,” and “eagle” that scroll vertically to the left of each stanza, a kind of quasi-acrostic."

I've already known all the words to this track for a while, but I relooked at the lyric sheet incase I missed something and I have no idea what he's talking about. Any ideas?
