Maybe we'll get it one day. Who knows. I don't know if I remember correctly but I think Domino just said that the mix Panda Bear put out in advance couldn't be that instrumental one.

I might be wrong but I think Sonic Boom has talked about there being a Tix Mix on the way, as opposed to the old Mix Ticks. everything is pretty scrambled in my head after all this time though

Does anybody know where exactly I should go to listen to Come to Your Senses in the next hour and a half?

I believe it's here: http://www.francemusique.fr/emission/label-pop but I'm not sure since I don't speak French

EDIT: Wait Come to Your Senses is tomorrow. Never mind

Sonic was pretty interested when we thought OG Faces and Jabberwocky were one song. If they combined it, perhaps due to us? That'd be pretty cool.

If anyone in melbourne is absolutely desparate to get their hands on the greaper, I found this today in JB hifi...the guy said it isn't embergoed so they're just selling it early. I didn't buy it because I preordered the LP but if anyone really wants it I think multiple stores have it now. This was in Altona, Melbourne

awesome!

and there may still be a stream with visuals if they broadcast the album in its entirety online somewhere before or on the day of its release.

Yeah the radio premieres stop on the 6th, which is a week before release. My guess is there will be some sort of visual stream running from at least the 7th til release day

i'd say if there's going to be a stream it would make sense to go up once the last track has premiered, streams tend to be exactly a week before i think?

I don't really agree it lacks catharsis (come to ur senses!!) but I think the guy "got" the album and was pretty insightful about it.

ok the production does not recall centipede hz??? this reviewer totally did not "get" the album... not to mention "beach boy harmonies"??? "childlike tone"??? i swear to god reviewers have a list of descriptors that they are forced to mention in any animal collective related review

so sick of references to the beach boys/brian wilson in EVERY review...
like jesus christ on a cross, i get it, they kinda sorta sound similar.. but if they for once actually listened to the damn song they'll realize its not exactly Surfin' Safari.

A friend of mine interviewed Noah for the magazine I edit. He talks a little bit about how the record was made (computer-wise) and what the Reaper represents and about some of the samples involved (though I think you guys have figured out most of that stuff over here). Have a read!

i find chz's sounds are a lot more alien or unique... the productions great on pbvsgr but the sounds are a lot more of this world.. the synths are a little more accessible, groovey drum breaks, etc.
