HOT TAKE: The new album will not be a grand collection of the 2019 jams, but instead a 45 minute long fully autotuned rendition of Tuvin with a Lablakely Dress interlude and hocketing somehow
Spoiler: show
but for real, the sung tongs B-sides are some of my FAV things they've ever done. my pipe dream is an studio EP/album with all of em together.... TRACKLIST:

Tuvin
Happy Singing Band
Untitled (Other Music)
Covered In Frogs
Sleeper Factory
Always You

dont believe da pilot doesnt rly fit anywhere here imo but that one too plz <3

Deakin: "Here's a little vox preset I made, that I like to call... THE EVAPORATOR"

seriously, incredible effect. straight up sounds like his voice is moving from a solid to a liquid to a gas

oh shit Deakin mentioning owls in that interview

the overly obsessive "bros" lore continues to unfold

kinda wish these guys never wrote songs to each other lol, but I guess they can't help it. also of course they never imagined their songs being so closely scrutinised.

watching kids just dance around to Grass is so healing

man this song is just like a square dance, huh! it's very dance-instructional

Dave must have listened to so much country and folk music in 2004. Turn Into Something is just warped bluegrass.

If Water Curses was a whole album, ie if they had a whole album of songs that sound like a hybrid of Feels and SJ, it would be the best album.

New interview, some fun anecdotes I'm not sure if I recall reading before. Also in case there were still any questions/doubts, they basically confirm that they have indeed been recording the 2019 tour stuff while being socially distanced.

I'm sure it will be a great album but that is disappointing to hear. Good interview tho. It's interesting that Josh says they're still in the writing process but also recording. Sounds like it's a ways off still
