petek and panda refer to the place they want everything they make to end up in as "the goldilox zone," referencing the band of space in a solar system that can support life

Next two weeks are gonna be massive!

I remember Pete saying this album could have 5 or so singles.... Any clues as to what to expect?

Or just the unexpected...?!?!

that's a great article, but translated it is a bit brain numbing...

"every unreleased PBVSGR track"

I wonder... does that mean the album?... or EVERY unreleased track...

Edit: Nevermind, I see now how it works. Each location has one song

because its not boys latin, mr noah, etc. but yeah, its pretty misleading.. just say that you're gonna be premiering the album.

its pretty short sighted on domino's part... this freebirded 6 weeks ago... they should try and do something a little more exciting.

I think it is good and new. Only panda fans know that the album has freebird so it is good that his songs are gonna be on the radio in a lot of different country.

no one is premiering DAVY JONES LOCKER or SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS!?!

this promo was probably in the works WAY before the album got freebirded but they probably should have planned for that and gone for something more exciting :S

panda bear's music doesn't really lend itself to the radio anyway, it's "headphones in CDQ" music

Geez, you guys are full of complaints ;) I for one am excited! Despite the freebird I'm sure there are plenty of fans who haven't heard the album, so I'm pumped for these songs to get released/heard in an official context.

how much input do you and PB have with regards to marketing strategy? i'd imagine that panda commands executive decision making power over most of it due to his reputation, but i'm curious!

btw. i wished there was a second harmony during the pre chorus of BBCM. the live version melody is different.

A measly four out of five stars? You say that like it's a bad thing. This album is incredible but to say it's a 5/5 is a bit ambitious.

Yeah they obviously have no idea what chill wave means tho

Sorry to be a moaning minnie. I appreciate that the vast majority of the album is 'unreleased' but it's such a bizarre word to use,and almost deliberately confusing for those of us who've been involved in months of discussion about the 'unreleased' tracks.

On another note, I didn't actually click on that map but there appear to be ten dots. If we take away Mr. Noah and Boys Latin, that does leave two songs, no?

That Irish review is actually very very positive, it's just the description of Selfish Gene is absurd. Maybe they're referring to Acid Wash, which is more in the vein of Principe Real. SG is absolutely astonishing. A career highlight up there with Bros and BroSport.

maybe wait a couple of months before throwing that kind of praise around! as long as it keeps getting better then you can say that ;) brother sport is the pinnacle of all music for me, lets give it some time!
