the only song from this album that really gets stuck in my head these days is sequential circuits
its my favorite kind of panda song... long, enunciated vocals, really hazy, droney yet active background, relate-able lyrics (a bit of a MGMT throwback), it's awesome

Weirdly, it's the only one I can never remember. I remember the vibe and the organ but it's just taken me about thirty seconds to recall the vocal. I skipped it quite a lot early on but I do like it now.

Even though I usually like an upbeat song as a set opener I really liked Sequential Circuits as an opener when I saw PB

^ yeh I've been feeling like Sequential Circuits is a companion piece to Drone - long expanding notes, similar synth tones just with the new GR feeling. Drone could have (should have?) opened Tomboy in the same way, hearalding a new chapter for Panda.
Also,
Beasts don't have a sec to cook but
We don't appreciate our pizza

If you could replace one song from grim reaper (not counting Davy jones or colossus) and replace with one of the b-sides from the EP or an unreleased song, what would you pick?

none - all the songs are necessary, and they are in the perfect order

I'm not sure I'd replace any, but I saw Panda Bear twice this fall and both times Faces in the Crowd (Ms. Pacman) was a huge standout, so I was pretty surprised to see/hear that on the EP and not on the album. That song was especially great live.
Having said that, after hearing PBVSGR top to bottom it does make a little more sense that it was left off in the sequencing. Still, what a jam.

Faces in the Crowd is excellent but I can't see it fitting in. However, every time Mr Noah ends I expect the song to be there because I listened to the EP so much.

I really want to eat just what my body wants to do
I really want to eat just what my body needs to do
I really want that dough to get baked in a pizza
I really need that dough to get baked in a pizza
Pizza... pizza... pizza... pizza...

the didgeridoo intro on that is the soundtrack to me discovering a beautiful pizza laying in a garden and I'm shining a spotlight onto it in awe and reverence

Just now give me a cold beer
Top my 'chit with pizza toppings
"Where's the wine and paper plates?"
"I think there up there: in the cabinet!"
"...just some spoons and sil-ver-wuh-are"
Seems like a smell
And all they talk as if they've stuffed their pizza faces
Only you can stuff your faces
So when the party goes
You put the box way back
Way back way back
In the fridge, don't block the stuff
That I bought your Aunt Darlene
Pizzasticks
They've stuffed their pizza faces
Only you can stuff your faces
So when the party goes
You put the box way back
Way back way back
In the fridge, don't block the stuff
That I bought your Aunt Darlene
Pizzasticks
Burned my hand
Pizzasticks
Got a big ole
Pizzastick
"(You) spilled some sauce around your lips"
Then I burned my hand
Pizzasticks
Got a big ole
Pizzastick
No anchovies or meatballs
Then I burned my hand
Pizzasticks
Got a big ole
Pizzastick
"I said "hold all the meatballs"
So your tip is reduced, boy!"
You'll eat up again
Throw it up again
(official lyrics via Little Caesars)

The story of Panda Bear hard at work at a pizza parlor
OREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGANO
If I say too bad (If what he cooks isn't good enough)
I'll take a lesson in my head
I've got to have (pizza) till I am dead
Now I've got these pies
And I'm never going to feed no one (because he feels it isn't good enough)
And when at last
My pizza is done
HAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVEITHAVITHAVIT (he finally made the perfect pizza)
I only only want the time
To do one thing that I like
I want to get so stoned
And take a bite out of the light dough
At the end of the day
When there's no one watching
It's not going to happen. (He has to make the pizza for customers not himself)
