^Honestly I don't follow Ariel during some parts of that interview, otherwise I enjoyed it though. Kinda cool to hear them talk like two old buddies, which they are of course. Also cool to hear them praising each other's music at the beginning

New Vulture interview with a great lede about elephant shit: http://www.vulture.com/2014/12/talking- ... -bear.html Also the video game metaphor pops up, for anyone who was saying that before

''but the purpose always seems to be the same [...] i often wonder if it's all an attempt to occupy the one part of the brain that is sending out impulses''

That is from the third page! I really like it,... near halfway understanding it but because he was not really able to finish the thought due to the back and forth of this format, there is this wonderful unknown space where any solution can be filled in, which matches up to the phenomena themselves that he is describing.

I'm so hyped because I can't even imagine what a new AC record will sound like!

Although let's be real, it'll almost surely be 2016 before we see new AC material put to tape. Excited about live shows though. I, too, am curious what the new material will sound like, since it'll likely sound like nothing else they've done before!

Got to chew what you've got to chew

What weighs on my pie
So I can't just eat the slice

Say, can I get my pizza baked?
Bake what it is I want to bake
Bake what?

Hey man, what's your problem?
Don't you know that I don't belong to you?

(from the perspective of a pizza delivery boy getting scolded by a customer)

It's hot and hard enough to keep it up (the pizza orders) when everything is 3 for 2 (on pizzas).

I'm not trying to forget you (the customer), I just like to be on my own (to get the pizzas prepared for delivery).

Come and give me the space I need and may you find that we're all right.

I know my pizza's way too hot (he gave them a diavola but they only ordered plain cheese) but I know that I'm trying (to give them the correct pizza as soon as possible).

I can never make out the lyrics of the second half but rest assured, it's something about pizza pie.
