i gave up on the terrible freebird, it bugged me that it feels like having to dig through a thick layer of sludge to be able to hear what's going on underneath, I'll wait till the next high quality release, whatever it is, or my copy of the record should come in p soon.

this is how MPP was for me when it freebirded, had the vinyl rip for a few weeks whilst on vacation then was blown away once i returned and was able to pick up a CD copy.

It's like watching a tv through a window and then buying that tv. Looking at it through the window didn't ruin the tv for me. While everyone is worried about quality I am rocking out to some amazing new animal collective. I just have to wait to bring it home, and then it'll be even better.
