I can't remember if I've ever masturbated to Animal Collective.

Really? No one's talking about the Tears for Fears cover? That shit is everything I ever wanted (and more than I ever thought i'd get) out of an 80s song.

yeah, i honestly didn't like it that much, either. but then, i generally don't like covers of My Girls; it's such a simple, straightforward song that most covers of it all end up feeling/sounding the same

I also just listened to it for the first time. I guess I was saving it for when I needed some new Animals Collection. It was magnificent. I guess I didn't expect to love it as much as I did. I knew I'd like it, of course, but it was quite an experience. And it's excellent to write to.

Or they have better things to do then go on a forum about themselves.

If I was in a band that had it's own forum, I'd be looking through that shit all the time.

Could you imagine these forums without the weirdo or two ?
It wouldn't be as fun nor would it make Animal Collective.
We're all weird, embrace it

^^^^^ Man, that's awesome. Your friend is talented!
A few weeks ago, I saw a picture of a pair of Cat's in Space pants that are really super awesome. So I ordered them for my girlfriend for Christmas.
So just now we're sitting here post-Christmas, and she's wearing those pants so I tell her I found them on some meme-ish picture about the pants being perfect for a first dad, so I googled the words "Kitty Pants Meme", and this is the second picture just popped up:
My mind was blown.
Just for reference, this is the picture of the cat space pants.

I don't know if y'all knew but Smooth McGroove (who got famous on YouTube for doing acapella covers of video game music) is apparently an AC fan and covered 'My Girls'.

AC produced those two albums, Scott was the engineer
It would be great if he produced it anyway, or I guess just did something with the next album (mixing, mastering, engineering, whatever). One of the best producers/engineers going around.
