I just read that thread on reddit and now I hope the guy spontaneously combusts. It's an absolute masterclass in disingenuous torment. I thought he might just be really stupid until I saw one of his most recent replies about finishing up some work and then leaving for his friend's house in an hour. This, added to the 'how do I upload a photo?' makes me wish him moderate misfortune, and I don't even care that much about the freebird.

I think in the vast majority of alternate realities, the person who got their hands on the record would have a god damn working turntable and the right setup to record audio into their computer

No. I'm not really angry about it at all but I do feel from reading his responses in that thread that he is massively stringing people along, even if he does have the record. He might just be really ignorant but it reeks of attention seeking.
