Wow, that first new song sounds incredible. Avey is still on the dance kick he was on for the original 2017 Mothlight show I guess, I never expected to hear acid/rave bass in an AC song. I'm just sad this stuff will probably suffer the same fate as the unreleased Down There tour songs given he'll probably be focusing on the new AC album for a while.

edit: im saying it baby, thats a quintessential midnight special right there. has all the best parts of the studio and an even more powerful vocal delivery than mothlight with changed lyrics and added vocoder parts to make it longer. oh my god i have reverse demoitis

i got tickets to both, not sure if it’s worth taking 2 days off of work or if i should just catch the friday show.. do we think the two setlists will be drastically different?

yeah abby wasn't at this show. he had a drive hooked up to the projector and just played a long video that regularly transitioned between different visuals. before his set he was looking for the right file in the projector menu and his drive was mostly full of bootleg movies. 2001 a space odyssey is the only one that i can recall
