I agree, these synths and drums are super uncharacteristic, not really in a good or bad way. it def nearly fits into a conventional like trap or almost pop radio sound in a way, but still the synth/filter work is still more interesting than how it'd usually be utilized in that context. but yeah good for him for trying something weird for him. I wonder if it points to a next full LP/era sound for him after the AC lp hopefully, or if it's just a one-off oddity he wanted to put out to like...almost promote the AC tour and the Homies digital release. who knows.

it's okayyyyyyyyy to me. i was super hyped on it after the live performance clip from the pitchfork winter thing. seemed unique. but blander in final form. haven't gone back to it. but props to him for experimenting with current trends, why the fuck not
