Yeah I'm super intrigued by that description of the new material, I've been thinking of BOUY as something connected with Homies but maybe it's actually something totally separate. If he was just recording those new jams in the studio in February then it's a totally separate recording session too. Did any of the songs sound like that "flesh" song clip from Rusty Santos' Instagram?

Pretty sure that's right. The new stuff was odd, almost entirely acoustic guitar-driven, with weird beats, but just played via samples. It was a big contrast to the ADWTH stuff, more mellow and with some pretty cool polyrhythmic stuff. The new stuff didn't go down very well in the room but I'm really looking forward to hearing it on the forthcoming (?) record, I think it will be quite unique.

The Homies tracks were MASSIVE.

The new stuff sounds weird, which is great. Long time since a Panda Bear song really made me do a double take. Also delighted that he's picked up the guitar again. I definitely prefer AC music when they play guitars, even though I don't really listen to much/any 'guitar music' otherwise

Surprised he's resurrected this old dud, to be honest. No Man's Land I can see fitting with the Homies stuff very well but I don't get Cosplay. He must really like the sample, I suppose.

just for clarity the buoy songs all have samples of acoustic guitar w/ similar electronic palette to pbvsgr and adwth

the 2 buoy songs he played in the encore were class. unsure of other buoy stuff, not as direct and/or pop as he usually is. 2 of the other buoy songs reminded me of prospect hummer rhythmically

great show !! i think the 'open your eyes' song is worth making the trip to see on this tour.

eh, i disagree. just from the tiny snippets, it sounds like he intended to make songs using samples of himself playing guitar rather than make songs on guitar. obviously just speculating tho, i dont want to go back and listen again until i see the show

Would be impossible for him to play guitar the way that sample is tweaked in at least that first song. I think the guitar sound is for texture
