it sounded like panda's electronic influences (the orb/ chris and cosey/ aphex twin/ french house) mixed with some amazing drone jams mixed with definitely more pop lyrics

god it was so exciting and special seeing him plug in that modular set up

the bass was sooo heavy

Both Dave and Noah seem to be on a similar beat driven electronic path.

^ Noah's new work is so good, surprisingly not that different from Greaper material, solid continuation of the aesthetic, great beats and electronic hooks.... Animal Mineral Vegetable got that TSOP feel

Honestly a bit disappointed that he stuck with a similar vibe and instrumentation as greaper, it's a bit out of character for him / AC. That being said i'm still really excited about it and the clips sound bangin

Is Panda playing more shows or is that it for now ?

I'm also surprised at how much he appears to be treading water with these new songs. Like, I quite like what I've heard but if I heard that they were leftovers from the Greaper era I'd say 'duhhh'.

I'd also say that the post about Dave and Noah being on the same page with these beat driven songs is pretty off, given MotW/Eucalyptus and the fact that Dave's been playing guitar, even acoustic, in recent sets.

Going off what we've heard, yeah, for sure. These could be really protracted/meandering on the record though, given what we know. PP vibes

the few bits we’ve heard so far have been so good tho. Usually with ac stuff there’s a song or two that could fit in with their last batch but overall leads to a new direction.
