full disclosure: i love painting with.

it does kinda irk me tho seeing the live stuff of painting with and feeling like a lot of the gear isn't being used to its full extent? like the buchla music easel for example. that was designed as a live performance instrument and people like kaitlin ariela smith and charles cohen get that bad boy to do A LOT (it can do everything and turn on a dime), whereas avey only seems to use it for some scribbly texture on some transitions live. So I'd be really into a live set up next round with less gear that is used more expressively. I feel like avey could really work some freaking magic with that easel if he pushed it live.

I'm just excited to have deakin back on the next album

i kno the guys love doing new stuff, which i also love, but it would be also to have like a special tour where they played a lotta oldies for the fans...that would be awesomeeee

but i dont want them to feel liek their stagnating, and theyve still got ions of beuatiufl music to share so...maybe not so awesome

I'd love for Noah to hook up with someone like OPN or Co-La on a full length. Possibly for an entirely different project outside of the Panda Bear moniker.

PBVSGR had all these grimy, modern textures that got smoothed out and neatly compressed on the actual record. It'd be great to hear him do a straight up wild sounding electronic album.

yeah one early mpp tour show i saw they played banshee beat, fireworks, who could win a rabbit, leaf house, and slippi.

I'd love to hear some recorded material from a collab between Avey Tare and Atlas Sound. They've played together multiple times in the past, but theyve never created an official release

i hope they don't keep playing their painting with songs on tour exactly how they are on record. watched some recent live videos and that's what they are doing

I assume some of it will get fucked around with by the time they come down to australia

The GF and I were talking today about the "Splash" sample at the beginning of "Zoom!" on Love Kraft and how it reminds us of AC in the best of ways. Zoom! is probably one of the songs I would love AC to cover, I feel like Avey/Panda would deliver some great moments to that song. Especially the "I can't get enough of it, Kiss me with Apocalypse (A POCKA LIPS), an instant hit" lyric.

I forgot about that track! That was the only one I ever really dug tho.. It be so crazy to have Drozd and Noah in the same room, those two together could make a real masterpiece.

Noah is buds with OPN he mentioned that in Grim interviews I think. He turned him onto to some piece of gear? Ableton?
