Hmm the sounds at the end of the Water Curses title track are so lush, that has to be one of the best samples they've used

Just remembered one of my favorite moments. At the end of Penny Dreadfuls, right after "When does this bus leave," those "zipper" noises. I know it's not actually a zipper, but that's just what I like to call it

First 30 seconds of Pulleys, when the bass kicks in filling up the song transitioning to the first crescendo of the song. Gets me in the right mood every time I listen to Centipde Hz.

I really like how the guitar comes in just before Avey's vocals do for the 2nd verse of that song.

Pulleys is a pretty great song

A few weeks ago I listened to Whaddit I Done on good headphones for the first time. I had no idea that there's a vocal singing along with the guitar in that song. If you listen closely you can hear the vocal going, "dut dut dut dut..." I've probably mentioned this before, but it's def one of my favorite little subtleties in an AnCo song.

I dunno if I'm crazy but I thought like.. isn't most of the song made up of modified vocals? like a few layers of vocals as well as the soft guitar?

Oh no you're not crazy, that is what it's made up of. It's just that I hadn't previously heard that one particular layer of vocals.

ohhh got it! yeah.. I love the little dit dit dits. :}

edit; while I'm here. I love when noah enunciates his T's. I know there's a few songs it happens in, but I'm blanking on them now hehe. but it's those times when he makes a T at the end of a word into its own syllable.

i always think it's cool when panda writes darker sounding melodies like this one. it's really similar to this pink floyd song too (at 2:21)

This, also

Tomboy: I know I know I know I know I know I know I know I know!
Campfire Songs: the unbelievable harmonies in the "Dave, Dave" part of Doggy.
Hcti: the screams in hey light and when the singing comes in full swing, and in slippi the weird percussion and the "I had a little slippi!"
CHz: Moonjock's breakdown

I love a weird noise sample that appears on the pre-chorus of peacebone (1:11, "While half of fingeers are dipped in the saand"), that goes away when the steel drums kick in, i don't know how to describe it but i 've always had the mental image of someone scraping metal (?)

"don't get too freaky on me"
"feels like a suns going down"
"is it still aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive?"
"if I could just leave my body for a night"
"she stopped crying like a child"
the part in new town burnout after panda sings "out of mind" leading up to "lift this weight"
"and hold me up inside the days the light will change its gifts every hour and hour"
the ending of honeycomb holy shit
I don't know how to embed youtube videos because I'm new but there's a live version of slippi from a few years ago in sydney when I went to see them which is really really cool.
the outro of did you see the words
pandas backup vocals in #1
"I can't lift you up, my mind is tired"
"either way you look at it, you have your fits, I have my fits, and feeling is good"

When Don't Believe the Pilot gets intense explodes into a big mess of screams and sounds (literally sounds like people wailing in pain) I dig it tho
The Panda croaks/screams in Covered in Frogs
The beginning coos in Mouth Wooed Her, then the sudden "GOOD DAY TO ASSASSINATE..."
"We're that happy singing baaaaaaannnddd, kiss the girl and kiss the maaan!"
"...I had to go to the end of the board and distract myself and go WAA~AAAY!! up now"

-In the rock herk boot the entirety of banshee beat seriously that boot is so amazingly cozy holy cow
-In the other music boot, in the second untitled track how when avey comes in with the lyrics how everything just fits together so nicely with panda's voice and the guitars and all of the descending melodies...
