I think something weird happened when I bounced certain tracks because the volume seems to drop off at the beginning of some tracks. I'll look into the issue and repost the recording later in the week once I figure out what happened/when I have some time. So sorry :(

Anyone know some of the tracks Dam Funk played? Pretty sure this was one..

I did some digging...

Here's the Barry White opener:

Checking You Out by Young and Company (1980):

I think this is the A Certain Ratio song he played:

Hood Pass Intact -- Dam-Funk

And the show-stopper:

[soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/damfunk/i-really-dont-give-a-fuck[/soundcloud]

I thought he said that the second song he played was by someone named "Linda Russell" and the record is from 1979...but the closest thing I could find was something by Lourett Russell Grant:

Pretty sure it's a different song though -- the single he held up looked different too.

thanks so much guys. principe real sounds so good now, im really into the changes he made. it sounds a lot more exciting to me than the ATP show, because its maybe more dreamy and less exciting?? this version of last night at the jetty is so good too, i guess he wasn't using a guitar at all? the samples he uses in place are so cool man...

the synths in BBCM are so nice. i'm a little bummed that they're not really audible on the album. i still love the album version and it's so great to have all these clear soundboard recordings!
