Mary if you hadn't added that edit, I would've said that exact same thing

I didn't understand what "leech images" meant so I googled "leech images," and much to my surprise it came up with.......leech images. Ugh. Didn't need to see that

yeah sorry, out of curiosity what is the difference between posting the link and embedding the image?

is the problem that it forces bandwidth use by pbvsgr.com or something?

it's just bad etiquette, plus you have no control if the image disappears or is changed (note that it could be changed in a malicious way by the owner of the pbvsgr.com domain!)

hey guys--long, long-time reader, first-time poster here, i was just wondering what's the fixation on a Boys Latin EP? seeing as the song is on the album, why does everybody seem so sure that it's going on an EP as well, much less that the EP will be named after the song? was this something mentioned or hinted at by petek or pb? i've been confused about this for a while. apologies in advance for my insolence if it was something mentioned on this board that i somehow missed

There are songs PB played live that are not on the album. SB confirmed that panda was going to release all the songs he played live in some format - ergo we're expecting to see songs like Popadam or whatever in a studio format on these EPs

spoogn - the director Isaiah Saxon tweeted that he's directing a video for Boys Latin, and also tweeted some pictures from the progress of the video. (see here, here, and here). Mr Noah is on the album as well, but that got put on an EP and also received a music video, so I think that's why some of us hope that Boys Latin is getting the same treatment.

I would say it's just a theory though, we really have nothing to confirm that Boys Latin is going to appear on an EP. But yes, like Howard said, we've heard that PB wants to release all the songs in some form, and when you take all the songs that aren't on the Mr Noah EP or the album, there's enough to make another EP

there is literally no info at all about a Boys Latin EP and somehow random speculation has turned into real anticipation :pwn:

Victor and Howard--thanks for clearing that up!! i've been reading this board for a few years and been keeping up with the bootlegs and the progress of the album pretty meticulously so i'm mostly up-to-date on petek's postings and most information except the boys latin ep theory (well, now i'm up to date on that as well!). very glad we're not losing any songs but i'd be surprised (albeit pleasantly surprised) to see boys latin on an ep rather than as a single. og faces/jabberwocky as a b-side does sound wonderful, though

yeah people mostly said that because boys latin is most likely the next vid to be released for anything off the album since they have already shown some of the artwork for the vid.

ATP is the newest version of Principe Real I've heard and it's an absofruit banger. What changed in more recent versions? I think people were saying the organ got buried or something?

As long as the "good god" drop at the start is still there I'll be happy :D

lol i love this

Anyone else feel like this is shaping up to be Panda's strongest album vocally? I don't think I've ever heard Noah sing with such confidence, with the vocals so upfront. I love all the subtle inflections all throughout Crosswords, I'd almost mistake it for a live recording if it wasn't for the harmonies. It does seem like Noah's really been giving it his all in the vox department.

I can only imagine how a song like Tropic of Cancer will sound with similar treatment; getting chills just thinking about it :shobon:

It's hard for me to say if it will be "best." Panda is my favorite at this point and I see all his albums (except the first, which I've never heard) as their own thing. I definitely think the upfront vocals fits this set of songs wonderfully. Panda said in at least one interview that he wanted to have simple melodies on this album, but I don't think these melodies are simple at all. They're kind of intricate, especially when you consider he says so few words but often says them in multiple ways ("so good," "'til I die," etc).

I dig. I always loved some of the vocal melodies from tomboy and person pitch because they're really simple descending or ascending phrases. PBvsGR vocals I think have similar foundations but are far more embellished. Not a bad thing but certainly interesting to think about.

Also you should check out panda's s/t album it's funky

Unbelievably generous offer, almost absurd that PK would give his time for something like this. Just imagine the Tomboy and Greaper build-up without his input.

Thanks for all you've contributed on here, Pete.

Still so psyched, every day. This is the part of the release cycle that kinda sucks though. We've already got the announcement and the EP and now it's just a waiting game.

I'm hopeful that the Boys Latin video will come between now and January, but who knows. They could be waiting until after the album drops, since we already got one video

I think boy's latin vid will be a week or less before the album's release so that people can get the album right when they hear the song

I'm guessing a week or two before release there will be an album stream with visuals accompanied by Boys Latin as a single. So you can listen to the album right away if you like the song..

btw, shoutout to Spencer (don't want to put last name) and lordlicorice on Youtube. You guys have good recordings and have great explanations for each one. If you're out there, thanks!
