I dunno, man. I kinda feel like in context, the CHz score makes sense. I'm psyched for the guys that Skiffs is getting the credit it deserves, and I'm sure many would agree with me that Skiffs feels at least 1.0 above CHz (at least in how it was executed).

The Painting With/Painters/Monkey Been to Burntown 6ish range scores are the true insult. And Tangerine Reef 6.9 is just kinda funny. (I swear I dont have them memorized, I just clicked thru at the bottom of the Skiffs review)

Word! I'm with you. I'm so glad to see all the love around here lately. I feel like Time Skiffs is such an apt title since they really seem to have taken a lot of us back (we go back!) to better days.

I'll agree that review scores shouldn't and don't matter. However, I must say that this will most certainly introduce thousands of people to this band.

also, lets keep in mind, the last B N M album was Arca's quadruple-album series but the one before that? Taylor Swift's recreation of an old ass album.

Harpsichord? They had one in the Defeat mid section in '19. Defeat will come, maybe on next release. Deakin vowed all leftovers will still be recorded/released basically.

Just finished first listen through. I don't listen to any live stuff beforehand (unless I'm actually at a show lol) so no demoitis or anything. But just the first minute alone of Dragon Slayer made me get almost misty eyed haha. The lush space on this thing feels so great. The piano bombast on Strung with Everything is something I've been wishing they would do since Feels and they nailed it. Just happy to have a moment like this with the band and with y'all reading the comments.

Grateful that life is occasionally far more beautiful than it needs to be. Sending good vibes to y'all

been a long time since I ve listened to an album on the day of it's release and felt the urge to play it again.
Royal and Desire is trully god tier AC, cannot wait to listened to it at 5 in the morning going home after a party.

I’d also give PW a 6+. CHZ 7.4 is reasonable too. and so is the TS 7.4.
