Which general album period was their most prolific in terms of songs written?
I was thinking Danse since it included Hollinn and Crack Box stuff, but a lot of Feels-era stuff is out there too

SPIRIT ALL THE WAY !

I mean how beautifully constructed is the first track ? It's pure brilliance.
April and the Phantom, Alvin Row, Penny Dreadfuls, at a young age,
is just incredible really.

Spirit was too self contained, the only "Spirit" songs are the ones on Spirit
Danse had all the Hollinndagainn and Crack Box stuff, even though chronologically the Campfire Songs jams came first?
Indian had some sweet stuff that kinda blended with Feels era
The only SJ-era unofficial song is From a Beach? Merriweather and CHz don't have any (unless one's slipped my mind)

Still mad they retired Bluish. I was supposed to see them in March and they cornpilled two weeks before. The setlist earlier this year was PERFECT! Ugh!

That would have been awesome to hear a studio version!

Yeah wat.

We might not even get ANY AC shows in 2014.

2014 seems like it's gonna be all solo releases and solo tours in support.

:(

Thought maybe 'end of the chz era' meant new songs and therefore new album? maybe not to be released next year but definitely new songs? he did not say 'end of the AC era'

End of an era is just that. It doesn't signify the start of a new one...just an end to the current one. They've been touring a lot over the past year and a half (and even before that) and haven't had it easy with the touring schedule. I'm sure they're going to take a break from AC again, do their solo stuff, and then maybe come back to write together late 2014, early 2015. Hello 2010 again!
