I had my first Animal Collective related dream last night. I was in a record store that I've never been in before, and in the back of a store they had a whole wall full of 7"'s. It was Crosswords on the A side, and an untitled Deakin song on the b side. I was very disappointed when I woke up.

I had an AC dream last night too! I was with a bunch of friends and then I heard Untying the Knot coming from this huge building, being played super loud. I walked around and they started playing (what my mind invented as) PBvsGR but it was at a distance and by the time I arrived it was over. Crushing.

Guys, Stan called it with this post back in August '13. PB is literally using stock samples on some of these songs, so "default" isn't far off at all.

I'm half-joking. I just think it's funny that Stan made that comment last year and it ended up being true, in a way, although it's not "default midi beats" exactly on PBvsGR, it's default samples and loops

I dunno, have you guys been keeping up with the bootlegs? Seems pretty spot on to me.
If PB would just drop a single or EP with Jabberwocky, I have little doubt that album hype would spiral out of control

the hype is already spiraling for me I'm just scared that popadam and old faces are in the gone zone.

Honestly when do you guys feel this is going to freebird? If I remember correctly slasher flicks freebirded a month before and it was on Domino.

tomboy didn't freebird til the stream, a lot of albums don't freebird til v late nowadays. it'll be a nice surprise treat if it finds it's way to us more than a couple of weeks before it's meant to. there's no point speculating and wishing it would happen, all good things...

Just depends on the artist I guess, this past month caribou, grouper, Ariel pink, foxygen, and Andy stott freebirded way to super early, but others like Run the Jewels and aphex twin freebirded pretty late so I guess well see

So many people tryna be petek's best friend and showering him with praise and then turning right around and talking to his (internet) face about when the product of a year of his life will get dumped on the Internet.

that's another reason not sit on an album for 3-4 months after its done. it will freebird and sales will be lost. I'm sure it will freebird long before January

I don't understand why record companies can not adapt to modern times.
hell, in the latest aphex interview he says that warp wouldnt release anything until January if he gave them something right now. that's ridiculous.

I thought SB just said not to blame Domino and that it was mainly a fault of their own?
please dont Blame do ho mi ho no ho ....
...the lateness for this LP in general if anything was me 'n' noah's '''faults'''
and i'll happilly take the rep on that.......it wasnt because i was doing anything else....
....we just wanted it to be as Goldilox as possible..... .

If Pb wanted to release something on his own label he could, and do it at anytime. There are a lot of moving parts to releasing an album on a big label and obvs. it is in pbs best interest to release it on domino, otherwise he wouldnt. You keep bringing this negativity up just like your opinion of the album cover. Stop whining pls
