I wonder if Noah ever looks at this board and gets weirded out by how obsessive we all are. I know I probably would.
the weird obsessiveness & intrusiveness is the entire reason the band stopped posting on here.
you no longer have to wonder...

He's an entertainer equally as much as a reviewer, like he's fun to watch kinda whether you're cringing or nodding

I think his review is totally fair and reasonable. I disagree, I really liked the EP. A review that did bum me out was that of my flatmate who said - "I didn't love it, I didn't hate it. It made me think about what I like most in music; texture and emotion. I didn't think it had any interesting textures and I didn't find it very emotional."
Anyway, to each their own, bring on PBVGR. I for one am psyched to the maximum.

Mr. Noah EP is my favorite AC-related release since Fall be Kind. It's warm and comforting in contrast to the alienish last few releases.

I love how there's a magic knob on the Rainbow!!
Hey Petey.. I am listening to other people use the Rainbow and like.. I can see the appeal for sure, but no one (at least that I'm finding on u-tube) has really used it in a way that I recognize in ur guys stuff, unless it's involved in something secret for now, could I have a hint to where you guys might be using it?
Or does anybody have any guesses?

To everyone who had their doubts about Tomboy, and for everyone else who didn't know this thing existed (I did a simple search and didn't find it on this forum), check this out. Tomboy with all the live transitions and effects mixed in...
EDIT: I listen to Tomboy at night, and I listen to Tomboiled when I wake up in the morning And if petek hasn't seen this, I'd love to know your thoughts

he's an influential person like any popular music reviewer and sadly a lot of people adopt his word just b/c. not like I raged.. it was meant like a cartoon looking up from the morning paper saying "oh, that Joe Biden!".. i ain't got beeff.

To the Joe Biden haters, I don't think his review was entirely terrible. Saying panda's vocals were off point was a little strange though and I understand if you feel insulted by that, though saying the lower-range singing on Mr Noah is a little goofy is a fair assessment in my book. Other than that though I think his review was overall pretty positive. So don't hate, he's just saying what he thinks.
LIGHT SIX!?!?! HOW DARE YOU ALBUM-THONY PAN-TANO THIS IS A TEN OUT OF TEN EP!!!!!!!!!!! Lol, if you're worried about the numbers, chill out because it's all pretty arbitrary. (though if I were to pick a number to match what he said I'd say strong 6)
In all honesty, I'm not surprised that he and I'm sure many others aren't big on the EP. If you didn't pay much attention to the boots or browse the forum or anything, I could see it being pretty hard to get into Mr Noah if it doesn't immediately click.

And if you want me to see him live more, tell him to come to the Southeast US so that I can make a trip... ATL, NC, FL, Nashville, wherever!

Yeah, for real. I appreciate any tour that he does but the locations this past time made it really hard for anyone in the south to go.

ooooo the afterneath looks really tight
can't wait to hear it! I'm sure you can't either haha.
Man, soonnyy, I hope you guys were really stoked all night when in the early game Panda had the call/response in Tropic of Cancer. I totally see why that version was clunky and why a more graceful/graveful delay-verb would do it more quality justice. (maybe the afterneath.......?? At least please try it and hear for your ears ! (: ) I just hope you guys enjoyed it as much as all of us did hearing these brand spankin new songs, with two distinct ballads that really captured how a lot of us felt. and that bridge in ToC really touched our funny bones and was really fun to sing along with that intense of a build up in a ballady song. I hope at least somebody you guys are currently chillin with got high off of it in-studio because I fantasize about the version y'all heard. I realized you guys hear near-album quality cuts of everything we faun over in the boots and hear once or twice live if we're lucky.
I totally agree with what was said about after listening to the official release enough it becomes the definitive version and I mean y'all came up with all the jams in the first place so please, change anything u see fit. i just hope you guys didn't feel "meh" about it ever, cuz album-worthy or not it was completely enrapturing all of us that heard it

OH ymy dOG.. okay i admit i'm stoned. but put on UTK and watch this guy, he's on a slightly SLIGHTLY faster polyrhythm so, IT AINT PERFECT, but it's pretty damn close and for a good like 5-6 measures it lines up pretty much on the beat
