In BBCM, I love the melodic turn that happens in the fourth line here:
And one's a friend of mine
And one's a Gemini
And one's a friend of mine
O wait I'll wait a while

you can't knock the album art when you're going to get a t-shirt that looks like this:

I preordered the 3xlp without the shirt and I am starting to think I might get the cd with the shirt which would total ~$80 on this album spent by me. I might be a little insane to even consider it, but I am

i love the art. simple yet bold and busy and stimulating. def stands out among his catalogue. PP is still the best though.

Guys, on the first page of this thread, StrangeClams joked about having rapping on the album...when you think about it, Noah's got nice flow on Mr Noah

There's a video of Crosswords at ATP where someone in the crowd is rapping Ridin' to the intro. In case anyone needed a mashup idea, that one's on the house B)

From the Mr Noah thread (referring to a promo CD of the EP's credits):

Oh just realized what's listed after "Panda Bear" and "Sonic Boom" on the back is the equipment they used (Jomox Xbase 999, Yamaha TX812, Moog Voyager; Fenix II Modular, EMS Synthi AKS Synthesizer, Moog Voyager). I don't know if any of that wasn't previously known but it'd be very cool if there was a full list on the album itself.
So that's actually an Xbase 999 in this illustration, and not an Octatrack... Makes a lot of sense now.

There are still songs that I don't want to listen to on the boots. Whenever I hear a song I want to listen to start to transition into one I don't, it's kinda like pressing B to stop your Pokemon from evolving. Yeah, it would be great to have, but I dont want my "Charmander" to "evolve" too quickly.
edit: goddamn I just realized I'm the kind of loser that is posting about Pokemon on an empty board at 1:30 in the morning. Drinking Coke no less. <-- sums up my life

Has anyone mentioned how on onebrianeno's Irving Plaza boot, on the part "And you won't come back, you can't come back..." in Tropic of Cancer, you can hear this weird effect? It kind of sounds like the vocals are doubled and pitch-shifted, or something....you can also hear it at the part that used to have the echoes ("so it goes, to, show").
It almost reminds me of the sound/sample about 14 seconds into My Favorite Colors

He had a delay pedal on his board that he was using to manipulate his voice all night.

Well, there's the explanation. I should have guessed. I guess this could be present in many (or all) of the boots and I just didn't notice it.
By the way, I've listened to your boot a ton, so thanks for that!

I wonder if Noah ever looks at this board and gets weirded out by how obsessive we all are. I know I probably would.

If I made music that was well liked/received by the general population (like Noah) and found a board that was as obsessive as this one towards said music, I probably would be confused and weirded out too. I think it's harmless fun... although some of you guys seem to stress the fuck out over the stuff, when all you need to do is play the waiting game.
Side note: that short film (Fecal Matters) was better/more amusing/enjoyable than 90% of the short films I worked on or saw during my time at school. I don't know what that says about the writers who were in my program (actually, I do know what that says about them).
