Domino sent me the album (a private streaming link) more than one month ago but I haven't had time to listen to it more than three or four times -_-

whaaaat. are you familiar with all the songs he played live in 2017, if so can you tell us which songs all the album song titles correspond to?

Any fav songs? General impressions?

I had listened to the mothlight songs only once so I will need more listens to have a real opinion but it sounds pretty nice. First song has a surprising "dub" beat, which sounds a bit like Nicolas Jaar's grooves on Space is only noise, for example... But combined with folk.

Seventh song's end has strange aquatic sounds which make me think about some of Ocarina of Time's atmospheres... Don't know why haha. ("Spirit they've vanished" also make me think about Ocarina of Time's "zombies" shouts )

The last song is beautiful. The whole album sounds more balanced than Eucalyptus but I don't know if I'll enjoy it as much as my Eucalyptus' favorite songs (Melody Unfair, Ms Secret, Season High...). I'll have to listen to it more times.

No, sorry :/ I recognized some of it but I never hear the bootlegs more than once... not to have demoitis.

It begins softly with nature and animal sounds but turns into something catchier after, with percussions in the background that sound a bit like Fickle Cycle (with less energy, and drowned under other sounds though) and some shouts at the end.

is HORS_ = Sew Happy?

and do chilly blue or our little chapter sound familiar at all from the boots?

I wonder if Our Little Chapter might be Red Light Water Show? This description sort of vibes with the Elsewhere performance of it but I might be totally off base with this prediction

There’s other songs that he played that tour that are so dope but not sure if they are on the album or not .due to name change ... but enjoy the change , uncle donut , red light show , midnight special (which is confirmed to not be in the album) and one that I forgot to mention the lemonade song, which will be in the album, are all gems!
I do like the Mayan song too .. he played it at the Chicago show and a few others.. I enjoyed it but it was probably my least listened to song.

Shitt I’ve been waiting for this album since hearing them for the first time at the Chicago show, which was a year n half ago!! This wait for the record has definitely been killer! Especially the first few months before he said he was actually going to record them. Man that was brutal

i check hasitleaked pretty regularly. found eucalyptus on there. since then i've used soulseek which you should download if you don't have it already

so, HORS_ sounds like the same melody as sew happy to me and is about horses, but the lyrics are completely different.

chilly blue is all synthesizers and guitar strums, so given the changes the songs go through hard to place it to a song on a boot with no lyrics. i'm leaning toward it not being on a boot.

i don't think our little chapter is in a boot either. there's a clear "our little chapter" lyric repeated in it. it's a beautiful song tho.

General impressions VB?

really loving it. first and last tracks are amazing. really like "our little chapter" too. the production is immaculate throughout too, sounds incredible. great mix of electronic and acoustic elements. but also just some great songwriting. you can really see the evolution from eucalyptus.

still no freebird? I can wait 10 days, just was hopin for a last second birddd

^tbh idk if it means much. I know they've curated playlists before just like their DJ mixes but for this kind of greatest hits playlist I think it could just be Domino putting it together
