I have to admit I did not 'get' Panda's songs this cycle until the Blast recordings/this tour, especially Gem and I, which to me is ridiculously rockin rousing track. And why has his singing changed so much since the 2019 tour? He sounded so off then, but now much better. Was it a conscious choice? Or an issue with playing drums and singing?

They got a few summer fest dates right? Perfect for a single to come out in August and then the album in the fall. Waiting on this thing until next year when they've been playing the whole record every night makes no sense.

I think a strong point for this to come out sooner (this year) than later (next year) is that the roll out for Time Skiffs was 1) long 2) featured every single with a music video that’s been released so far. It seems like Domino knew to stack the single releases before the album dropped, that way the next record could find its welcoming.

Let's say this thing is done being mixed and mastered in May, I honestly think a six month lead time for a late autumn release is optimistic, given vinyl pressing lead times right now... Would be very surprised if we haven't had a release announcement and at least got a couple of singles by the Nov tour though.
