Mr. Noah and This Side Of Paradise both have such goofy melodies, really sounds like something new for him. I hope the word goofy doesn't sound wrong, I really love the light-hearted tone, they're both absolute bangers, as well. Ms. Pacman has come out great, too, such a gorgeous and upfront melody. Robert Frost never did much for me on the boots but I love how it dives deep fast and then the message is delivered. Movin' on.

I'm going to leave for work half an hour early so I can cruise round the streets bumping to this.

went from being one of my least favorite songs on the boots to my favorite song on the ep

In terms of Jabbawocky speculation, there are three pairs of unknown songs, I can't make out anything from the lyrics which would point to anything, though. I don't see it as a closer, although I do think it would be an amazing way to end the record.

And that's all the news!

The outro to This Side of Paradise is practically at Turn into Something outro level.

ohohohoh best halloween ever... and if they're releasing visuals? how could they be released without sounds as well? I'm guessing eiher a song or two, a collage, or some of the EP songs with visuals, something along those lines... i mean how much more can there really be?? -wink-
And ANYONE LIKE "WTF OMG I NOT GON BUY" just PM ME a dropbox email address and i can share the folder with all four songs (but please use as last resort... I bought the music and it'd be cool if everyone did but i understand the times...)

Very confused... the lyrics on lyricalcollective for Ms. Pacman are the Faces In the Crowd lyrics... Are they the same song?

Really hope it's the Boys Latin video that was discussed a month or so back.

Faces in the Crowd, as of the EP release is what we all used to call Ms Pacman, sounds like someone just copy-pasted the lyrics when we heard this. Ms Pacman, has either been assigned to another song for a release we dont' know about or (more likely) has just been scratched as a name entirely. Who knows. What we used to call Faces in the Crowd we're thinking is just medlied in somewhere on the album. Most likely in it's original place, as the intro to Jabawoqy (as on the ATP set). Clear?

I smoked too much before all this. bad idea... I had problems with the Domino ordering thing and was going through all my cards trying to get them to work. then I hit back and it said purchased... I got lucky I guess. but anyway...

I put on a spectrogram before starting the ep, for the first time. Does anyone else see what looks like words/letters at the beginning of Faces in the Crowd? I'm not sure if this is common for spectrograms, with digitized vocals (?) but it sure looks like it spells something out to me. also that part sounds a lot like something off Aphex Twin's recent album. kinda uncanny

woah Untying the Knot is the best! Who woulda thought from Robert Frost (still loved its sublety tho)? but Mr. Noah and the last one are a little boring :( but they're getting better with more listens :)

also apologies if anything has been mentioned before, I haven't read the other pages yet :)

edit: also, sorry for editing so much :)
edit: and for so many smilies :) :o

So how many of you are upset that you listened to the boots? I certainly am not, I still call malarkey on anyone who thinks it ruins the studio release...in my opinion it made it better! Thank god for this tho...it definitely messed up my sleeping schedule but well worth it! Gnight and happy listening!

I am 90% sure I can hear some gun sounds from Half Life 2 in Faces in the Crowd - specifically a type of minigun or something but I can't place exactly what.
