Because that's how albums are released, they're announced ahead of time to build excitement. The dudes probably have some sort of album roll-out (videos, stream, interviews etc) prepared that will assist in building hype, although we've only gotten a song and a video so far. but this is a pretty typical release schedule for a band as popular as AC. They're not just gonna drop the album immediately

blocking the videos is an automated process, youtube has an analysis of the music on their servers and then videos containing matching audio are blocked without human involvement. this feature was actually used to determine which live aphex tracks would be on Syro.

I actually have a watermarked copy so if lesotho sends me his/her copy, I will analyse the wave forms of the two versions and simply remove the discrepancies and replace them with pink noise, thus removing the watermark and making it safe for everyone to listen to. Maybe someone can give him a call and sort this out.

Don't PM me asking for a copy, this is a reference to the MPP freebird era.

I caved in, downloaded a VPN just to watch those vids. Lying in the Grass sounds weird as fuck, it is definitely not as poppy and accessible as I think people are expecting the album to be. I'm looking forward to how music reviewing sites will receive this (yes i care about musik reviews, i am sheeple ik)
