Yeah seriously, my two favs meet at last. I think I remember reading that Avey is a fan of Xavier: Renegade Angel, but I can't remember where. This video is so great though. Wasn't expecting the video for this song to be so sexual, but it definitely works.

danny perez does visuals miles better than this
I was also turned off by how low-quality the sound is in that particular video, so there's that as well.

Danny comes up with some really original costume and body painting ideas, something that I prefer and respect over any of the other video producers AC has collaborated with. His strobe techniques are tried and true and pair well with his live action shots
But I don't want to knock this video because I thought the planet smashing stuff was pretty great

my roommate memorized all the lyrics to floridada, which is quite impressive imo.
according to that quietus interview the whole album is lots of really fast vocals (sung tongs anyone) which i'm hyped for

Watching the video without sound without having heard the song will probably make you monumentally hyped to hear the song. But the song is way better than the video.

I'm personally hoping for a freebird to be delayed as long as possible, even though it's killing me to wait to hear this record. I just don't want to be listening to a (possibly shitty) mp3 for a month before that physical copy comes in the mail.

I like all the other MPP videos a lot more. Brothersport vid just doesn't do it for me. Guys Eyes tho. Or Bluish. I don't know how people can deny that the Bluish vid is one of their best ever.
