I'm happy to share! But really, it was all Sonic's work! I'm just as happy as you guys to have these sweet mixes. I find it interesting that the Assis mix features a song off of a collaborative EP by Stereolab and Nurse With Wound called "Animal or Vegetable (A Wonderful Wooden Reason ......)". I wonder if the selection of these mixes are artists that had any significant influence on PBvsGR or if they're just longtime favorites of Mr. Boom's...
Another thing of note I came across as I was listening to the Assis mix earlier is the part where Sonic reads off his liner notes for Congratulations. I own the LP and was already familiar with the text but was pleasantly surprised this time to hear the phrase "expect the unexpected" pop up in the notes. He writes: "'Expect the unexpected' I heard - as any fool knows, usually impossible." I guess this phrase is quite common in Sonic's vocab. He keeps telling us to expect the unexpected with this new album and I can only imagine that the unexpected in this case may be. I'm sure this LP is going to be nothing short of astounding. You always find ways to keep us on our toes pk! Expect the unexpected indeed.

Perusing Sonic Boom's posts would probably be the best start. Hes given insights into recording and lyrics, posted photos from the studio. That'd be the meaty stuff

If you're looking to catch up, DAD gave a good run down on boots preceding the most recent run of Panda shows. I would say Webster Hall recording (also from DAD) is essential listening
Closest thing we've got for studio stuff is a Cosplay demo and snippets of songs in a PB mix here. There is word Panda wants to have smaller releases leading up to the album including visuals from Danny Perez.

There's really only 3 good Panda recordings of the new material: ATP from last year (which you need to get if you haven't), Warsaw, Chicago. My Warsaw one has "Heart and Soul" and Chicago has "The Preakness" instead. The audio in the Chicago one is more distant just because of where it was recorded but the quality is still good. I would just check out both because there are nice, subtle differences in the performances that you can geek out on (ie: Dark Cloud).

ATP performance of Nadir is my favorite version of the song by a lot... maybe my favorite live pb trak. actually it's tied with the ATP 2009 I Think I Can / Chores but no good quality version for that exists

I witnessed panda's performance at ATP 2009. I can easily say that was the best performance I have ever seen. So sad the boot of that got all fucked up.

Very repetitive statement but I have not felt this excited about a release since MPP! So psyched.

But I think the bootleg sounds terrific?
Regardless, I know that a soundboard version of that performance exists somewhere (since ATP uploaded a super-high-quality recording of "Bros" from that very show). Maybe some day...

Does anyone know if Pete posted the full lyrics for Jabberwocky? I'm digging and can't seem to find them

No, not yet. The only lyric he's posted in reference to Jabberwocky is "I like it more like so".
Presently, we have lyrics for all of the songs except Faces In The Crowd and Jabberwocky. No word on any lyrics from Acid Wash and Lonely Wanderer as well if you're counting those from the list petek posted. Faces/Jabberwocky are the only two we need and then we'll have lyrics to every new song Noah's played live

Damn, that's crazy. Not only is it rare to have an almost-complete lyric booklet before an album comes out, it's rare to have one at all for any AC-related project. What would we do without PK?

Yeah these lyrics are hard to figure out. Especially Jabawaqy, I would never have guessed he was saying that.
Those lyricalcollective lyrics are good guesses though.

I'm listening to the boot from the SF FIlmore show from last May. So good. Who was there? How do those cuts stack against Mohawk? What's up with Other Guy? No Nadir! Eesh

I'm pretty sure the line in Jabbawaqy we thought was "I get heart and soul" or whatever is the "I like it more like so" part

Yeah, I believe someone mentioned this a while back when Pete told us that the line is "I like it more like so."

has anyone asked pete for the Jabberwoqy and/or Faces in the Crowd lyrics? I'll do it. Politely.
Pete, you & i do not know one another but I still think of you as a dear friend. If by chance you read this, could you possibly be so moved to selflessly provide CA with the lyrics to these glorious chunes you and Mr. Noah have boiled, butchered and baked in le Namouche cauldron? Please? & thnx! & salutations.

Hey, dudes, this is kind of an unrelated topic, I just want you to know that I've made a thread to discuss the "Bonfire of the Vanities" Lyrics, 'cause it seems that nobody has guessed the complete lyrics at all after all this time, so if somebody know anything about these lyrics go here: http://collectedanimals.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2402
PS
I've also posted my guess of the lyrics.

I politely second this motion!
So far this is what we've got from Pete on these two tracks:
