Sounds like The Softest Voice, but with different lyrics? Maybe an early version.

I was listening to the music box village set and i cant see that material being on the new AC album, specially with panda involved. it looks more like a side project like tangerine reef. theres already 10 songs so they would have to axe some of them to include noah songs in there and i cant see him just jumping on that stuff and adding drums.. also those other musicians involved (sorry dunno their names) have a big part on the overall sound in a way that if those songs ended up on a new AC album i guess they will be on a very different form

That's basically what they've said when asked about that material, that those local musicians in that performance will not be present when they record the songs and therefore the arrangements will be very different. With that in mind I could definitely see them being on a new AC album. Whether Noah will be involved or not, who knows?

oh didnt know that they talked about this stuff already, yeah i guess what i was mostly thinking is that if that material would be on the next AC record i dont see panda being part of that... an album without the homie i guess

I never thought about it before but I think you're probably right. It's going to be difficult to retrospectively fit Noah into this bank of songs because that's not really how they work. That said, it seems that his songwriting contributions to CHz were somewhat randomly inserted and had no relation to Dave's songs or the desert rock alien radio thing they talked about. One Tomboy leftover and another completely left field and Beatlesy that he didn't even like. Maybe he'll just drum again if he is involved? Maybe toss in a couple of offcuts?

What's the left field and Beatlesy one, Rosie Oh?

Huh I had no idea he didn't like that one, it's one of my preferred tracks from the album.

In an interview he said it was 'shite'. Avey doesn't like it either, straight up refused to play it on Fallon

I think you're confusing things here, guys. There was another Noah song being worked on during the CHz sessions, but that didn't make the cut because it was 'shite', as far as I remember.

Well, if it helps, Rosie Oh is actually 'shite'.

when they perform rosie oh elsewhere avey usually provides backup vocals, etc. if they actually didn't like that song i really don't think they would have ever played it at all

Rosie Oh is pretty great
I really want AC to attempt a sort of long form event-based piece similar to the tape Dave and Brian made in high school, a kind of acousmatic storytelling thing. Eucalyptus and ODDSAC have come closest but I want a real-deal musique concrete release with hardly any pop concessions, one that’s not as nebulous as their installation pieces.
Agreed. I kind of got that vibe from the sound-collage parts of Meeting of the Waters too. Would also just love to hear that tape of D&B's some day, especially how they convey all of the ideas with the limited gear they had at the time.
