check it out - according to his facebook deakin is performing a solo set in LA next week -- things are happening maybe??

edit: guess this is old news - but still interested to see if the sets from the boys are DJ or....something else? On myanimalhome they list the show on the 12th as "solo sets", but for the next day they list avey tare and deakin DJ set...which makes me think the 12th could be something special. any chance anyone would record?

I'm curious by sonics description. The influences he listed are almost heavier and poppier than what deacon was playing live a few years ago. I remember it being more slow and ambient.

man i remember really loving clips of that one song "when i get home... something something " if anyone knows what im talking about. feels like it was one of the first solo deak jams that got circulated, from an ottobar performance on new years?? But it seemed like that one got dropped really quickly... would love to hear it finally tho.

if anything on this is as pretty as the deakin song on TTG where he's singing real high... oh man..
