im just waiting to see if it pops up in stores or i can get it later. i assume like monkey been to burntown it wont really ever sell out or if it does it wont be that hard to find.

dug up a bunch of old geo/band posts from old boards and put them in the CA2 questions thread. Some valuable chunks, some funny useless shit. Please check it. I don't have the keys to that thread so it may look like I've been just pointlessly bumping it

Has it come up that scheherezade is a part of TTG? At 9 mins, it's buried in that tremolo'd throat singer sample. Never noticed it.

i think TTG was a really great project for them but not the most rewarding for a listener, partially because there were all these sort of confusing ways of consuming it

is more the king tubby sample than scheherezade per se, and is also used on the intro of mercury man

the TTG version in the stems has the piano chord although it's filtered a lot more heavily than on tomboy

A similar version of Scheherazade is on the Tomboy 4lp box single mixes. Tubby sample much more prominent, everything else awash in reverb

That gated wordless vocal echo that comes in for the first time at 1:28 in "Infant Dressing Table." Think that's Panda? Avey's doing wah-wah vocal quacks elsewhere in the song so it makes me think it's not him... so haunting... the first AC song that blew my mind back in the day...

I always thought it was, yeah. I love that sound, as well as the complementary swallowed 'ooh' vocal which sounds like Avey with a little of the Whaddit I Done filter on it.
