i didnt link the reddit post just because i didnt want to start a witch hunt or whatever. but i looked through his post history, and the post history of what looks like mulltiple alt accounts for him, and he seems like a full-time internet asshole. an absurdly rude person. Its sad to remember people like that exist

yeah in one of the reddit threads there was a guy defending him so hard, I figured it must be him on another account. No idea what he has to gain from making 100 posts insisting that he's in the right, and not in a particularly polite way, when clearly literally everyone disagrees. Just step away from the computer if you're so sure everyone's wrong? that's what makes me think he's just getting off on pissing everyone off.

i just looked that up, yea! it sounds like homer when he went on that freak out with seth and munchie! i guess that takes some damn precedent since the band themselves made it and it's not some shitposting/memery, but i'm totally not digging the treatment !! i liked how sparse that jam was before, and now everybody wants to gang up on with synths and mixers and all that

at least on their reworked loch raven they're adding onto elements that were already sonically implied on the album.
